Topic : Prayer for Couple.
Text : Genesis 2 : 18 - 24.
Memory verse : Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife : and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24
Devil from onset was not comfortable with the institutional frame work of family. " And the LORD God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet ( Wife ) for him. Genesis 2:18 (emphasis mine). The Lord warned us to beware of concision in Philippians 3:2.
" Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife : and they shall be one flesh". Genesis 2:24. These statement wrought Devil , because he never wanted unit and harmony which were fundamental blocks of the first family of God`s creature.
Since then, he (Satan or devil as the case may be) sought every opportunity to;
1: Cause dispute in every home . Genesis 4:8
2: Magnified discrepancy beyond imagination. Genesis 4:6
3: Embarked on crusade of separation and contract marriage in western world.
4: Modernized malice and willful sin as " it doesn`t matter" even when the eyes of God is red at it.
5: Provoking spouses against each other.Ephesian 4: 27
6: Moving husband to kill his wife vise a visa
7: Turn movies and other TV shows to replace morning devotion and family alter in many home. 2 Peter 3:17
8: Sealing the heart of children against simple parental injunction.
9: Legalizing transcendentalism dressings made to kill brand from satanic factory.
10 : Provoking Children to stab their parent...this is Absalomic ministry.

Indeed devil is angry against every home. The earlier we discover this menace the better ready will become. How possible it is for husband to kill his own wife ? This is metaphysical and demonic.
Pastors, Ministers, and religion leaders` home not spare from this satanic assault. Many wives turns torn in the flesh of their husband. Many husband endures marriage melt to be enjoyed since bible discredit divorce. " For the thieve cometh not ,but to steal, kill and destroy " John 10:10.
DON`T WAIT FOR DEVIL TO SLAP YOU BEFORE DEFENDING, WE MUST STAND IN GAP IN PRAYER FOR EVERY COUPLE i.e families.
PRAYER FOR EVERY HOME
1: Say father, thank you for being the foundation of every home.Genesis 1:26.
2: Every arrow of dispute set against every home, return back to your sender in Jesus` name.Amen. 2 Chronicle 7 :14
3: Every illegal visitors in every home,in the mighty name of Jesus loose your hole in Jesus` name.Amen.
4: Every weapon of misunderstanding in every home,I destroy you in Jesus` name.Amen.
5: Let peace and love returns to every home in Jesus` name.Amen.
6: Let the word of God be a benchmark for every home in Jesus` name.Amen. Joshua 1:8
7: Galatians 6:17, " From now henceforth, let no man ( or woman) trouble your home for you bear in your body the mark of the lord Jesus. Amen. Shout Halleluya !
I DECREE AS GOD SERVANT THAT FROM THIS MOMENT PEACE AND LOVE RETURNS TO EVERY HOME IN JESUS` NAME.AMEN.

Police quiz missing banker’s colleagues
Police quiz missing banker’s colleagues
Olowookere
THERE is Mrs Bukola Olowookere, the bank worker, who has not been seen since she was allegedly dropped off close to her home last Thursday night by some colleagues?
This is the puzzle the police are trying to unravel in a bid to end the mystery over her disappearance.
The police have interrogated the colleagues, who dropped her at Canoe Bus stop in Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, around 8.30pm of that fateful day.
The 33-year-old Mrs Olowookere and her three colleagues in the car work at Ecobank. She works at the Bourdillon, Ikoyi branch of the bank.
With her were Bayo Ogunrinyo, Henry Ejimofo, who are in her branch, and Itar Mukhtar, a senior colleague from another branch, who drove the car.
Ogunrinyo was said to have alighted at Oshodi; Mrs Olowookere dropped at Canoe Bus stop; the others, who live in Ikotun, drove on.
Mrs Olowookere’s elder brother Mr Seyi Ogundolie said the police have quizzed her colleagues.
Ogundolie said he learnt about his sister’s fate late in the night of last Thursday.
“We initially reported the matter to Ejigbo Police Station but since we needed them to move fast on it, we were transferred from Ejigbo to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) Ikeja headquarters.
“They are doing their investigations. They have called her colleagues for questioning – those that claimed to have dropped her off. So, we are waiting for further update from them,” he said.
Ogundolie, who hails from Ondo State, said he spoke with his sister last Wednesday.
Their discussion, he said, bordered on changing the lesson teacher of her four-year-old son, who the school bus usually drops at the Ogundolies home in Jakande Estate after closing.
He said: “Our conversation was less than three minutes. My wife called me because her son stays at our place till evening. The school bus drops him at our place in Jakande Estate and his father picks him up in the evening between 6:30 and 7:30 because he gets home earlier than his wife. Prior to this time, her son used to have a female teacher and I think the female teacher left the school, so she found her son a male teacher. When my wife told me, I told her (Mrs Olowookere) I cannot entertain a male teacher because I have two daughters and two other girls living with me and we cannot always be at home because a male teacher wants to come around. With the female teacher, our doors are always opened. That was what I told her that day and she said she would do something about it. She did not sound troubled throughout our conversation.”
He described his sister’s disappearance as disturbing, adding: “The first question I asked her husband is if he did not quarrel with his wife and maybe she went to our parents’ house. But it was so late in the night when I got the call. When I asked him if they quarrelled and he said no. I spoke with their pastor in the morning and he said their relationship is better than it used to be that they don’t suspect that there was a quarrel. We went as far as going to my parents’ house early the next morning. She wasn’t there when I went there as early as 6am and as at then, we have not had any clear picture of what happened to her the night before until much more later when we got the phone numbers of those she was in the vehicle with.
“She works with Bourdillon branch of the bank. They were four people in the vehicle including her. She was the only female. According to what I was told, I cannot say she was the one that was dropped off last but she was the only one that was dropped off that nobody can attest to the fact that she was dropped aside the other two guys in the car because one of the colleagues alighted at Oshodi and he is the one that usually brings her home anytime she misses the staff bus. He drops her at Cele bus stop because she lives at Okota. He (Ogunrinyo) was the one that told us that as at when he was alighting at Oshodi, Bukola was still in the vehicle and the other colleague (Ejimofo) who was in the car aside the driver (Mukhtar) also confirmed that he was dropped at Oshodi and that they were the ones that dropped Bukola at Canoe bus stop. That is as far as we know. The other two guys were heading to Ikotun because we were told that they live in Ikotun.”

Man flees after allegedly beating wife to death
Man flees after allegedly beating wife to death
A man, Lekan Shonde, has fled his Lagos residence after he allegedly beat his wife to death.
The incident occurred at Tiemo Crescent, off Awori Street in Egbeda in the early hours of Friday.
It was gathered that the suspect locked their 6-year-old and 4-year-old children in their apartment with his wife’s corpse on the ground.
The Nation gathered that the deceased, Ronke Shonde, has been a victim of domestic violence for several years.
It was learnt that the couple had an altercation that morning, which resulted to a fight only for their nanny to resume work at about 7am and discovered the woman’s corpse on the ground.
The nanny, it was learnt, had tried to call the woman on phone but strangely her mobile was switched off.
According to a neighbour, the nanny, who could not enter the house because it was locked, peeped through the window and saw the kids crying, trying to wake their mother.
The neighbour said they heard noise from the building but never thought it was something as serious as death until the nanny raised the alarm.
Neighbours soon surrounded the place and forced the door open at which point the woman’s lifeless body was found with blood stains from her head.
When contacted, the police command’s spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent (SP), said the case has been transferred to the Homicide Unit of the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID, Panti.
She added that the children have been handed over to the deceased’s family members.
“Yes I confirm the case was reported at about 8am on Friday. One Mrs Tiemo E.B. of 5, Tiemo Street, Ile Epo Alhaji, Egbeda reported at Idimu division that at about 7am she heard the screaming of Mrs Shonde Ronke’s children who is one of her tenants.
“The scene was visited by the police operatives and corpse moved to Isolo General Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.
”However, the husband couldn’t be traced since the incident occurred.
“His phones are switched off but effort is on to get him.”

THE COST OF GREATNESS
THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD PROVINCE 2 H/Q
DIGGING DEEP
THE COST OF GREATNESS
BIBLE READING GENESIS.12:1-9
Memory Verse: Gen. 12:1The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people
and your father’s household to the land I will show you”
INTRODUCTION: Greatness according to the Oxford dictionary is the quality of being
distinguished or eminence in statue in society. This means it is a form of separation of class of
people to a level different from others. In our secular lives today to become great require some
basic steps in other to be in a separate class with our peers with whom we grew up or went to
primary and secondary schools together therefore the call to greatness by God is a divine one
to those He has chosen which must be taken seriously. May the Holy Spirit open our eyes to see
and understand what He is teaching us today in Jesus Name, Amen.
THE CALL TO GREATNESS: Most times it takes the grace and divine intervention of
God for us to hear and understand the calling to greatness. It is a very difficult call that
the enemy don’t want us to understand because they can see beyond us as a result
they try to create doubt in our mind while trying to answer the call to greatness.
In the case of Abram whom we will be studying today in the book of Genesis 12:1-9 we
can see how challenging the call was for him to answer because God called him
immediately his father died, being the first son of his father he was suppose to arrange
his father house and inherit the wealth left behind by his father but this was the time
God decided to call him this was a very tough choice to make even though God was
promising to make him a great man in verse 2 of Genesis 12 it was more easier to
chose the the things he could see than the ones he was being promised by God.
This scenario often plays itself out in our daily lives when it is time to change job, make
a choice in marriage partner or starting a business because by the nature of man it is
always easy to work by sight rather than faith, we always prefer our comfort zone rather
than going out or taking the risk. For example a brother would prefer to remain in a job
where he is being paid a meagre wage rather than lose that job in the process of
searching for a better one, this is working by sight and not by faith.
THE ROAD TO GREATNESS: The road to greatness has never been easy, ask any
great man in any sphere of life be it in business, academic, medicines or in the gospel
ministry and they will tell you it is not an easy journey because anything good don’t
come easy.
As we can through the life of Abraham his journey was not smooth right from the time
he hearkened to the call in Gen.12:10-20 there was always a challenge to be faced but
God was always making way for him as he journey on, that why it is said if God give a
vision He will make a provision, but these days it is very difficult to be patient and wait
for God to lead us because we want instant answer and result for our efforts and we are
not ready to face any difficulty thereby being tempt to take short cut and the result don’t
always last for long.
CONCLUSION: As we can see the journey to greatness is not an easy road but with
divine calling and guidance from God the journey will be rough but there will be a way
out and at the end success and upliftment is our portion
